I like to have Zigbee thermometers in strategic places. Sonoff has numerous variations to choose from. Here are a few:

SNZB-02LD: Host can work in an environment at -10..60°C.
The specs make the SNZB-02D unsuitable for use inside a freezer, or outdoors in Canadian winters.
