Recipes adapted from those printed on a Hendrick's "High Tea" gift box.

Note: those are pretty strong drinks.

Hendrick's & tonic

• 2 parts Hendrick's gin;
• tonic water;
• cucumber slice.

Pour gin over ice into a glass, add tonic and garnish with a cucumber slice.

Hendrick's gimlet

• 1½ parts Hendrick's gin;
• ¾ part simple syrup;
• ¾ part fresh lime juice;
• cucumber slice.

Combine ingredients in a shaker, add ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a glass and garnish with a slice of cucumber.

Gin basil smash

• 3 parts Hendrick's gin;
• 1½ parts lemon juice;
• 1 part simple syrup;
• 10 leaves of basil.

Muddle the basil in the shaker with the simple syrup. Add the rest of the ingredients and shake very hard. Fine strain into a glass over new ice.
